HIP REPLACEMENT EXPERIENCE OF THE PATIENTS WITH DISEASES AND DAMAGES OF THE HIP JOINT USING ENDOPROSTHESIS OF CEMENTLESS FIXATION

Searches for more effective methods of treatment of degenerative-dystrophic hip diseases led orthopedists to the application of modern method of treatment – hip replacement. Nowadays this operation appears to be widespread in economically developed countries. Dynamic monitoring of the patients with replaced hip shows decrease of the favorable results with time and necessity of components revision appears. For the purpose of creation of the long-term stability of the components the new system of hip replacement SLPS under the supervision of Academic of National Academy of Science of Belarus Prof. A. V. Rutsky was created. These implants have been applied at the specialized departments of clinics in Belarus for more than 10 years.
In this article the analysis of treatment of 1341 patients who were treated at the trauma departments of Minsk regional clinic with 1444 hip cementless endoprostheses implantation is presented. The detailed analysis of five-year endoprosthesis results in the group of 168 patients who were operated on during 2003–2004 years is performed.
